Sink scrubber for stains
This formula gets rid of your stains in several minutes. Just scrub and rinse it off with vinegar and hot water
Ό cup of borax
Potpourri
A midsummers eve
This may be added to pillows and sachets or set out in a bowl.
½ cup of purple basin
½ cup of chamomile
½ cup of marjoram
Ό cup yarrow
Ό cup of juniper berries
Ό cup of oakmoss
2 tablespoons of gum benzoin
2 tablespoons of mace
2 tablespoons of grated orange peel
15 drops of cedar essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Elegant romance
1 cup of rose petals
1 cup of lavender geranium leaves
½ cup lemon verbena leaves
½ cup of powdered orrisroot
10 drops of vanilla fragrance oil
8 drops of sandalwood essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Spring fresh
½ cup of rosemary leaves
½ cup peppermint or spearmint leaves
½ cup of eucalyptus leaves, torn
Ό cup thyme leaves
Ό cop whole cloves
2 teaspoons of grated lemon peel
1 teaspoon of grated orange peel
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Garden memories
1-cup calendula flowers
1-cup statice
1 cup of cornflower
1-cup snapdragons
½ cup rose petals
½ cup marigolds
½ cup rosehips
½ cup of juniper berries
Ό cup cedar chips
Ό cup anise ground
2 cinnamon sticks, crushed.

Country roads
2 cups of dried apple slices
1 cup gingerroot, chopped but not peeled
½ cup whole cloves
8 1-inch cinnamon sticks
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Exotic blend
Do not simmer this blend
½ cup of jasmine flowers
Ό cup of lemon verbena
Ό cup lavender
Ό cup of sweet woodruff
Ό cup fennel leaves
2 teaspoons of coriander peel
2 teaspoons of gingerroot
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Orange delight
This may be simmered in a pan of hot water on the stove. Add to pillows, sachets ECT.
2 cups of orange peel, cut into small strips
1 cup of marigold flower heads
1 cup of dried apple, cubed
½ cup of whole clovers
½ cup of cinnamon chips
½ cup of calamus root
10 drops sweet orange essential oils
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Sinful seduction
Also add this to pillows, sachets or set in a bowl or dish.
1 cup of jasmine flowers
1 cup of verbena leaves
½ cup chopped gingerroot
½ cup of clary sage leaves, crushed
2 Tonka beans
1 vanilla bean, chopped into small pieces
1 tablespoon of sandalwood chips
1 teaspoon of cimin seed
20 drops of patchouli essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Enchanted hummingbird
This contains hummingbird flowers again to be added to pillows, sachets, or put in a bowel
1 cup of magnolia flowers
1 cup rose petals
1 cup bees balm blossom
1 cup lemon verbena
½ cup of calendula flowers
Ό cup of grated orange peel
Ό cup of grated tangerine peel
2 tablespoons of orrisroot
10 drops of rose geranium essential oil
10 drops of bergamot essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the
jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Woodland breezes
To be added to pillows, sachets, or put in a bowel
1 cup of whole sage leaves
1 cup of red nasturtium blossoms
1 cup of evening primrose flowers
1 cup of cedar chips
½ cup of clary sage leaves
½ cup of oakmoss
Ό cup of angelic root, chopped
25 drops of patchouli essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Morning dew
To be added to pillows, sachets, or put in a bowel
1 cup of lemon balm leaves and flowers
1 cup of marigold flowers
1 cup of peppermint leaves
½ cup of chamomile flowers
½ cup of lemon thyme leaves
Ό cup of grated grapefruit peel
Ό cup of lemon peel
2 tablespoons of coriander
15 drops of bergamot essential oil.
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Mulberry madness
To be added to pillows, sachets, or put in a bowel
3 cups of petals and leaves
1 cup of juniper berries
1 cup of hibiscus flowers
½ cup of bay leaves, crushed
Ό cup of star anise
2 tablespoons of orrisroot
15 drops of mulberry fragrance
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures.
Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Nice `n` spicy
To be added to pillows, sachets, or put in a bowel
1 cup of anise hyssop
1 cup of fennel leaves
½ cup of pineapple scented sage
Ό cup of grated orange peel
2 tablespoons aniseed
1 teaspoon of caraway seeds
10 drops of sandalwood essential oil
5 drops of vanilla essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Sweet dreams
To be added to pillows, sachets, or put in a bowel
½ cup chamomile flowers
½ cup sweet clover flowers
½ cup dill stems, leaves, and flowers
½ cup of lavender flowers
½ cup of sweet marjoram
Ό cup of lemongrass or lemon balm leaves
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Winter blues
To be added to pillows, sachets, or put in a bowel
1 cup of evergreen needles
½ cup of chopped dried apple
½ cup of cinnamon sticks, broken into small pieces
Ό cup of whole clover
1 tablespoon of allspice berries 1 tablespoon of mace
1 tablespoon of chopped gingerroot
15 drops of frankincense essential oil
10 drops of myrrh essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and stir with a spoon until well blended. Cap the jar and leave it in a place free of drafts, direct sunlight, and extreme temperatures. Gently shake the jar once a day for 4 to 6 weeks, or until you feel that the fragrances has fully developed.
Simple Sachets
Sweet linens sachet
This sachet recipe imparts a sweet aroma to linens and towels.
4 cups of oakmoss
2 cups of rosemary leaves and flowers
2 cups of lavender leaves and flowers
½ cup of lemon balm
1 tablespoon of orrisroot
8 drops of lavender essential oil
6 drops of rosemary essential oil
Combine all dried herbs in a glass or ceramic bowel. Add the orrisroot and stir with a wooden spoon. Add the essential oils and mix well. Place spoonfuls of the blend onto muslin or cloth squares, leaving enough room for sew the sides together. Place sachets on shelves or hang inside linen clothes and cardboards.
Spiced sachets
You will have enough to fill two to four sachets
2 cups of cinnamon chips
½ cup of whole clover
½ cup of peppercorn
½ cup of dried gingerroot sliced
2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon of aniseed
2 tablespoons caraway seed
Combine all ingredients in a bowel and mix by hand or with a spoon to blend. Place spoonfuls of the blend onto muslin or cloth squares, leaving enough room for sew the sides together
Deserving drawers
This recipe is good for draws that smell or have no smell to them.
3 cups of cedar chips
2 cups of oakmoss
1 cup of sandalwood chips
1 cup of dried sage
1 vanilla bean, crushed
15 drops of patchouli essential oil
Combine the cedar, oakmoss, sandalwood, and sage in a glass bowel or ceramic bowel. Mix with a wooden spoon. Add the vanilla bean and patchouli oil and stir until completely mixed. Place spoonfuls of the blend onto muslin or cloth squares, leaving enough room for sew the sides together
The kitchen sink
Rust remover
Wipe away all of them horrid smells with a fresh scented cleaner.
Ό cup of baking soda
5 drops of essential oil of your choice
Juice of half a lemon.
Sprinkle baking soda directly onto the rust stain. Add essential oil and sprinkle with lemon juice. Allow the mixture to sit on the stain undisturbed for several hours or overnight. Wipe away baking soda and rinse thoroughly

Pet smells
