Synergistic dishwashing blend 1
This fruity blend will leave your dishes smelly of juicy fruits.

• Liquid castile soap
• 15 drops of lemon or lemongrass essential oil
• 6 drops lavender essential oils
• 5 drops of bergamot essential oil

Fill a clean 22-ounce plastic squirt bottle with castile soap (diluted if according to direction if using concentrate.
Add the essential oils. Shake the bottle before each use. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of liquid to dishwater and use as usual.

Antiseptic kitchen cleaners:
Add a few drops of nature’s own antiseptics – tea tree oil or bergamot– to water and then wipe down your surface for a hygienic kitchen that smells wonderful! To remove stubborn stains first, use an organic multipurpose cleaner like Sal Suds or Citra-Solv


Copper cleaner:
Mix equal parts of white vinegar and salt and apply to the surface with a rag. Rinse thoroughly with water afterwards to avoid corrosion. Don't use this cleaner on lacquered finishes.


Drain cleaner:
This recipe will free minor clogs and helps to prevent future clogs.
Pour 4oz (120ml) of baking soda down the drain first, then the same amount of white vinegar. Let it fizz for a few minutes, and then pour down a kettle full of boiling water.
Alternatively, Citra-Drain uses natural enzymes to remove build-ups and blockages and keeps drains flowing freely.


Window and mirror cleaner:
Spray a mixture of water and white vinegar onto the surface and rub with a lint-free rag or newspaper. Fly spots can be removed with cold tea.
Citra-Solv’s Citra Clear (add link) is a powerful, natural window and glass cleaning solution for streak-free and sparkling surfaces which is also biodegradable, made from renewable resources and cruelty-free.

Alternatively, use an E-cloth – a multipurpose cloth that uses water only to provide a superb streak-free clean (add link).

Sunday cleaning formula
This formula is good to use on a regular basis for maintenance

• 2 tablespoons of baking soda
• 2 tablespoons of Liquid castile soap
• 10 drops of sweet orange, lemon, or lime essential oil
• 1/2 cup of hot water

1. Preheat oven to 250 for 15 minutes, then turn off and leave door open.
2.combine the baking soda, soap, and essential oil in a clean spray bottle.
Add the water and shake well.
3.Spray on oven walls and wait 20 minutes. Wipe clean and rinse well.


Serious oven cleaning formula
If u have disasters in the kitchen when cooking, this is the formula for you.
• 1/2 cup of salt
• 1/4 cup of washing soda or borax
• 1 box (16 ounces) of baking soda scant
• 1/4 cup of water
• 3/4 cup white vinegar
• 10 drops of thyme essential oil
• 10 drops of lemon or lemongrass essential oil

1.Combine salt, washing soda and baking soda in a plastic container or glass bowl. Add just enough water to make a paste
2.Remove oven racks and preheat the oven to 250 for 15 minutes, then turn off the oven and leave the door open. Carefully spread the paste onto the oven walls with a sponge or cloth and allow to set for 20 to 30 minutes.
3.Combine the vinegar and essential oils in a spray bottle and shake well. Spray the oven walls and rinse well.


Overnight oven cleaner
Bring out them greasy cutting oven oils for them heavy-duty oven-cleaning jobs

• 1 cup of water, divided
• 10 drops sweet orange, lemon, or rosemary essential oils
• 1/2 cup of salt, divided
• 1 1/4cups of baking soda, divided
• 2 teaspoons of liquid castile soap
• 1/4 cup of vinegar

1.Block the vents in the oven floor with aluminum foil or waxed paper. Preheat the oven to 300 for 15 minutes, then turn off the oven and leave the door open.
2. Combine 1/4 cup of water with essential oils in a spray bottle and shake well. Spray oven floor and walls with his precleaning mixture.
3.Combine 1/4 cup of salt and 1/2 cup of baking soda. Sprinkle the mixture to the oven floor, paying particular attention to spill areas.
4.mix 1/4 cup of water with the remaining 3/4 cup of baking soda, 1/4-cup salt, and the castile soap. Spread this mixture on the oven walls. Remove the foil or waxed paper from the vents and allow the paste to sit overnight.
5.Combine the remaining ½ cup water with the vinegar in a spray bottle. In the morning, spray the oven walls and floor generously with this mixture. Wipe well, using fine steel wool to work off any stubborn spots. Rinse several times to remove any residue.

Oven cleaner:
Make a paste with baking soda and water and then apply the paste to the oven surfaces. Let it stand for a little while, then scour. This recipe requires a bit of elbow grease but is completely non toxic – and think of the calories you’ll burn! Soak the oven shelves in a hot solution of washing soda crystals to cut through the grease and grime quickly.
Do not use these recipes on self-cleaning ovens.

Basic sink cleaners
This formula is for porcelain or stainless steel.
• 1/4 cup of baking soda
• 1/2 cup of vinegar
• 3 drops of lavender, rosemary, lemon, lime or orange essential oils.
• Combine all ingredients. Rinse sink well with hot water. Pour the cleanser in the sink and wipe with a sponge or cloth. Rinse again with hot water.

Herbal scrubber
For this formula you can only use whole dried( not powdered) plant material for this recipe.
• ½ cup baking soda
• ½ cup of rosemary leaves, ground

Combine all the ingredients in an airtight container and shake well to blend. Sprinkle a small amount of the powder into the sink and scrub with a damp sponge. Rinse well.

Lemon blast appliance cleaner
This solution is great for refrigerators and stovetops.
• 1 teaspoon of liquid castile soap
• 1/8 cup of vinegar
• Ό cup of lemon juice
• 2 cups of water
• 6 drops of citrus seed extract
• 4 drops lemon, lime, orange, or eucalyptus essential oils
• 1 teaspoon of borax


Herbal appliance
This formula will remove greasy film from appliance surfaces.

• 2 cups of water
• Ό cup oil based soap
• 10 drops or rosemary, lavender or citrus essential oils

Combine the ingredients in a plastic spray bottle. Shake well before each use. Spray generously on to appliance surface and wipe with a damp sponge or cloth. Wipe dry with a cloth or towel


Burnt pots and pans
Soak pans in a strong solution of soda crystals and warm water.
Not suitable for not aluminium pans.
Freezer defrosting:
Wipe the inside of the freezer with glycerine after defrosting. It will make the ice slip off much quicker next time.


Kitchen tiles
A strong, hot solution of orange soda crystals will clean ceramic, vinyl and quarry tiles (and will also remove any wax polish).

Pine fresh floor cleaner

This will leave your pine floor smelling wonderful and leave it looking shiny.

• 1 gallon of hot water
• 2 tablespoons of liquid castile soap
• 10 drops of pine essential oils
• 5 drops of cypress essential oils
Combine all the ingredients in a large bucket. Dip a mop into the bucket and squeeze to excess liquid. Clean the floor by working in sections, using short strokes and dipping the mop as needed. Rinsing is not necessary.


Citrus floor cleaner
Nothing works like citrus in the kitchen
• 1 gallon of hot water
• 2 tablespoons liquid castile soap
• 15 drops of sweet orange essential oils
• 8 drops of lemon essential oils or Ό cup of lemon juice

Combine ingredients into a large bucket. Dip mop into the bucket and squeeze to excess liquid. Clean the floor by working in sections, using short strokes and dipping the mop as needed. Rinsing is not necessary.


Tough dirt and grease formula
Tough dirt does not get removed quicker than this formula can

• 1 gallon of hot water
• 2 tablespoons of liquid castile soap
• Ό cup of washing powder
• 1 cup of vinegar
• 20 drops of eucalyptus, peppermint, or tee tree essential oils

Combine ingredients into a large bucket. Dip mop into the bucket and squeeze to excess liquid. Clean the floor by working in sections, using short strokes and dipping the mop as needed. Rinsing is not necessary

Lino floor cleaner
Add 4oz (120ml) white vinegar to your mop bucket to get a sparkling floor. The vinegar odour goes away after the floor dries. Or try one of the multipurpose organic cleaners, such as Citra Solv or Sal Suds

Herbal disinfectant
This formula is super and easy to make
• 2 cups of hot water
• 5 sprigs fresh thyme or 10 drops of thyme essential oils
• Ό cup of borax

if using this fresh herbs, bring the water to a boil and pour over the thyme sprigs in a bowel. Allow to steep for 30 minutes and then strain off liquid into a spray bottle. Add borax and shake well. If using the essential oils, combine all the ingredients in to a spray bottle and shake well. Spray onto surfaces and wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge.

Pine disinfectant
This recipe is much better than your normal pine cleaner
• 2 cups of water
• 2 teaspoons of borax
• 8 drops of pine essential oils
• 4 drops of cedar essential oils

Combine all ingredients in a clean spray bottle and shake well before each use . Spray into bathroom surfaces and wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge.

Mold and mildew prevention formula
Use this formula on shower stalls and curtains, that tracks between sliding glass doors, and other moist areas.
• 2 cups of water
• 8-10 drops of citrus seed extract
• 2 teaspoons of tee tree essential oils
• 4 drops of juniper essential oils

Combine all the ingredients in a spray bottle. Spray areas and surfaces well but do not rinse

Mold deterrent
If you already have a buildup of mould or mildew, allow the spray to rest on the surface areas for a few hours. Wipe with a soft cloth then respray areas and then let dry without rinsing
• 1-Ό cups of white vinegar
• Ύ cups of water
• 4 drops of cinnamon essential oils 6 drops of cinnamon essential oils
• 6 drops of patchouli essential oil
• 2 teaspoons of tee tree essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle. Spray surfaces well but do not rinse.

Herbal scouring powder for sinks
This powder rubs out grime while leaving a fresh, earthly sent. Make sue you rinse well to remove any residue
• 1 cup of baking soda
• Ό cup of dried sage leaves, crushed
• 1-teaspoon cream or tartar

Combine all ingredient in a plastic container preferably one with a shaker top shake well. Sprinkle a small amount off the powder into sink and scrub with a damp sponge or cloth. Rinse well with plain water.

Whitening scouring powder
The combination of borax and citrus peel will kill germs and remove stains
• 1 cup of baking soda
• 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
• 1/8 borax
• Ό cup of grated lemon, orange or grapefruit peel.

Combine all ingredient in a plastic container preferably one with a shaker top shake well. Sprinkle a small amount off the powder into sink and scrub with a damp sponge or cloth. Rinse well with plain water.

Fragrant scouring powder
This formula has a clean, pleasant scent. Increase the amount or rosemary essential oil to 4 drops for more fragrance
• 1-cup baking soda
• Ό cup rose petals, crushed
• 2 drops rosemary essential oil

Combine all ingredient in a plastic container preferably one with a shaker top shake well. Sprinkle a small amount off the powder into sink and scrub with a damp sponge or cloth. Rinse well with plain water.

Earthly scouring powder
This cleanser will make you think your tending your garden instead or cleaning your bathroom.
• 1 cop of baking soda
• Ό cup of dried, crushed rosemary leaves
• 5 drops thyme essential oil
• 3 drops essential oil

Combine all ingredient in a plastic container preferably one with a shaker top shake well. Sprinkle a small amount off the powder into sink and scrub with a damp sponge or cloth. Rinse well.

Tub and tile soft scrubber
A used plastic dishwasher liquid or shampoo bottle with a squirt top is an ideal container for your scrubber
• 1 cup of baking soda
• Ό cup of liquid castile soap
• 2 vitamin c tablets crushed
• 3-5 drops of eucalyptus or tea tree essential oil water

Combine baking soda, soap, vitamin c, and essential oil in a plastic bottle. Add just enough water to make a smooth liquid paste. Shake well before use. Apply paste to surfaces and rub with a damp cloth or sponge until the area is clean. Rinse several times with water

Lavender soft scrubber
This is not just clean, but will make your hands softer as well.
• Ύ cup of baking soda
• Ό cup of powdered milk
• 1/8 cup of liquid castile soap
• 5 drops of lavender essential oil water

Combine baking soda, milk, castile soap, and lavender oil in a squirt bottle. Add just enough water to make a smooth paste. Shake or stir to mix. Apply to surfaces then wipe area clean with a damp sponge or cloth. Rinse well.

Fizzy bathroom sink cleaner
With this formula the kids might even clean your bathroom for you.
• ½ cup of baking soda
• 6 drops of lemon or lime essential oil
• Ό cup of vinegar

Combine baking soda, salt, and essential oil in a small cup. Add just enough vinegar to make a paste. Apply to surfaces and scrub with a damp sponge or cloth. Rinse well.

Germs be gone toilet cleaner
This formula is generally made for cleaning surfaces of the toilet and under and behind the seat.
• 2 cups of water
• Ό cup of liquid castile soap
• 1 tablespoon of tee tree essential oil
• 10 drops of eucalyptus or peppermint essential oils.

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle spray the toilet surfaces and wipe clean with a damp cloth or sponge.

No scrub toilet bowl cleaner
This is for toilet bowels that have an everlasting ring around them
• 1 cup of borax
• 1 cup of vinegar
• 10 drops of lavender essential oil
• 5 drops of lemon or lime essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a plastic bowel or bottle and pour in all at once into the toilet bowel. Allow to sit overnight. In the morning just flush

Toilet bowl cleaner
Sprinkle baking soda and a couple of drops of liquid soap inside the toilet bowl. Scrub with a toilet bowl brush and finish outside surfaces with a rag sprinkled with baking soda.

Basic laundry soap powder
This recipe will wash six average loads, but you can easily double it
• 1 cup of washing soda
• 1 cup scented baking soda
• 1 cup of soap flakes or finely grated pure bar soap

Blend all ingredients and store in a heavily plastic container. Use ½ cup for an average laundry load

Basic laundry soap liquid
The additional of glycerin and essential oil gives extra cleaning power while still being gentil;e on your clothes.
• 1 ounce of liquid castile soap
• 2 tablespoons of glycerin
• 1 cup of washing soda
• 1 cup of baking soda
• 10 drops of essential oil of choice

Combine all ingredients in a heavy plastic container and shake well before using. Use Ό to ½ cup depending on the size of the load and how dirty your washing is.

Hard water formula
Hard water can affect the performance of your laundry soap this formula will not.
• 1 cup of soap flakes or finely grated pure bar soap
• 1 cup of washing soda
• 1/2 cup borax
• 2 cups of vinegar
• 10 drops of essential oil of your choice

Combine the soap, washing soda, and borax in a heavy plastic container blend the vinegar and essential oils in a separate container, preferably one with a pour spout. Use ½ sup of soap mixture for washing and add half cup of vinegar mixture during the rinse cycle

Fine washing formula
Do not use this formula on items that are 100% wool, silk or satin
• 1 ounce of liquid castile soap
• 1 cup of infusion

The rosemary infusion can be made a few different ways. If you have fresh rosemary, you can steep, two sprigs of bruised rosemary in 1 cup of boiling water for 15 minutes, then strain or steep one teaspoon of dried, crushed rosemary leaves in 1 cup of boiling water for 15 minutes, then strain. if using essential oils then add 3 drops to 1 cup of hot water. Place the clothes in the washer and add the castile soap and rosemary infusion launder in cold water on the gentle cycle

Baby’s laundry formula
This formula is for babies that get really messy.
• 2 drops of essential oil (optional)
• 2 tablespoons of liquid castile soap
• Ό cup of washing soda
• 1 cup of baking soda
• Ό cup of borax

if using essential oil, mix with castile soap .add this mixture to washer along with the washing soda, and borax. Launder as usual

Bright colors formula
This recipe makes enough for one load
• 1-ounce liquid castile soap (scented with 2 to 4 drops essential oil, if desired)
• Ό cup of washing soda
• Ό cup Epsom salts

Add the liquid castile soap to washer then add washing soda and Epsom salts. Launder as usual.

Lavender fabric softener
This formula is both effective and fragrant at the same time.
• 1 gallon of vinegar
• 20 drops of lavender essential oil

Add the lavender essential oil to the vinegar right in the container and you’ve got instant fabric softener. Shake well before using. For a larger load, add 1 cup during the rinse cycle, use ½ cup during the rinse cycle for smaller loads.

Minty fresh softener
This formula gets rid of bad outdoor odors
• 1 gallon of vinegar
• 10 drops of peppermint essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a heavy-duty plastic container. Add 1 cup to the rinse cycle for each load.

Lemon fabric softener
This is a fresh lemon fragrance that softens your clothes.
• 6 cups of vinegar
• 1 cup of water
• 1 cup of baking soda
• 15 drops of lemon or lemongrass essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a heavy-duty plastic container. Add 1 cup to the rinse cycle for each load for truly lemon-fresh clothes.

Oil spill remover
If you have oil leaks from your car then this recipe will be sure to get rid of them stains.
• 2 cups of natural cat litter
• ½ cup of baking soda
• 8 drops eucalyptus or peppermint essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a small bucket or pain. Sprinkle mixture over the oil spill and let stand for 2- 3 days. Then just sweep up the powder.

Mold and mildew destroyer
This works well on walls and concrete. Try it in your garage or basement
• ½ gallon water
• 2 cups of hot vinegar
• 1 cup of lemon juice
• 2 teaspoons tea tree essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a large bucket. Dip in mop into the bucket and wring out excess liquid. Wipe walls from the top to bottom, rewetting the mop after every few strokes. Do not rinse. You can also wash concrete floors with this solution. if there are any windows in the room, open them and let everything air dry for a few hours.

Easy citrus car wash
It is an easy formula hat is sure to leave your care sparkling
• 1 gallon of water
• Ό cup of liquid soap
• 10 drops of lemon or orange essential oil

Fill the bucket with the water and liquid soap and stir until mixed. Add the essential oil and stir again. Using a soft cloth or sponge, wash the exterior of your car from the top down, one section at a time. Rinse each area well with clean water before the soap has a chance to dry.

Tire wash
Use this to keep your tires looking fresh.
• 2 cups of baking soda
• ½ cup of water
• Ό cup of liquid soap
• 2 cups of vinegar or lemon juice
• 5 drops of lemon, lime, or orange essential oil.
Combine the baking soda, water and soap in a bucket and add the vinegar and essential oil and mix well. Apply with a brush to get in between the tire trends. Wash one tire at a time.

Headlight scrub
This will remove grime that you have sticking to your headlights
• Ό cup baking soda
• 1-½ tablespoons of liquid soap
• 8 drops of eucalyptus or pine essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a plastic bowel and mix well. Dip in a sponge and scrub each headlight. Rinse several times with a wet cloth or a garden hose.


Lavender leather upholstery cleaner
This is a safe way to clean leather.
• Ό cup of soap flakes
• 1 cup of hot water
• 6 drops mint or lavender essential oil

Dissolve soap flakes in hot water. Add this formula with a soft brush, using gentile strokes. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Buff dry with a towel

Fragrant leather upholstery conditioner
• ½ cup of olive oil
• Ό cup of strong rosemary tea
• Ό cup of vinegar

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well. Lightly spray onto upholstery and buff with a dry cloth.

Window wash
In the winter this formula reduces frost buildup
• 3 cups of vinegar
• 1 cup of water
• 10 drops of lemon essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well. Spray onto windows and wipe clean with a chamois cloth.


Sudden spill and spot remover
This gets rid of stains no matter what the spillage was.
• ½ cup of vinegar
• ½ cup club soda
• 8 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
• 3 drops of wintergreen essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well. Spray directly onto stain and blot with a clean dry cloth. Repeat as necessary.

Battery terminal cleaner
This will make you batteries last longer as there will be no more grime.
• ½ cup of baking soda
• 4 drops of lime or orange essential oil
• Water to make a paste

Combine all ingredients in a small bowel or cup and blend well using only enough water to make a paste. Apply the paste to battery terminals with an old toothbrush and scrub until the clean, then wipe again with a dry cloth.


Corrosion resistance for battery terminals
This will keep corrosion from happening to your batteries
• ½ tablespoon of 100% pure aloe Vera gel
• 1 tablespoon of petroleum jelly

Mix the aloe Vera and petroleum jelly together in a cup. Apply the mixture to the battery terminals with the tip of a small paintbrush.

Fragrant wood cleaner
This gets rid of sticky grime and will give a floral scent.
• ½ cup of lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon of liquid castile soap
• 4 drops of bergamot, geranium, or sweet orange essential oil.

Combine all ingredients in a small spray bottle. Apply wood and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Wipe again with a dry cloth.

Berry good for wood cleaner
Use this fruity solution to bring dingy, dull wood furniture back to life.
• 1 tablespoon of fresh raspberry leaves
• 1 cup of boiling water
• ½ cup of vinegar
• ½ cup of lemon juice

Steep raspberry leaves in water for 20 minutes. Strain. In a spray bottle, combine tea, vinegar and lemon juice. Shake well. Moisten a soft cloth with the solution and gently rub the wood to loosen and remove the dirt. Use a second clean cloth dampened with water to remove any residue. Wipe again with a dry towel

Lemon fresh buster
This recipe is for single use of lemon juice
• 1 cup of lemon juice
• 1/8 cup of cooled lemon balm tee
• 2 drops of thyme essential oil
• 4 drops lemon essential oil.

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well. Spray into wood and wipe clean with a dry cloth.

Cedar wood dusting aid
This can be used for bookcases, coffee tables, kitchen cabinets and the antique dining room table.
• ½ cups of oil soap
• Ύ cup of water
• 5 drops of sweet orange or patchouli
• 15-20 drops of cedar essential oil.
Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well. Spray onto wood and wipe clean with a soft dry cloth

Moisture rich duster
This recipe is nourishing for older, dry wood
• Scant 1/8 linseed oil
• 3 drops of lemon or sweet orange essential oil.

Combine ingredients in a small cup and stir to mix. Apply small amounts at a time to a dry cloth to remove any oil residue.

Herbal wood polish
This formula leaves a light herbal aroma
• Ό cup of linseed oil
• 3 drops of lavender or rosemary essential oils

Combine in a bowel. Apply a light layer of polish to wood with a brush or cloth. Rub into wood with a soft cloth, using circular motions. Wipe again with a dry cloth.

Lemon walnut wood polish
If making larger quantity to store, use 15 drops of lemon essential oil instead of the lemon juice
• 1/8 cup walnut oil
• 1/8 linseed oil
• Ό cup lemon juice

Combine all ingredients in a bowel. Apply a light layer of polish to wood with a brush or cloth using circular motions. Wipe again with a dry cloth.

Carnauba and lavender wood paste
Carnauba is the hardest ax available it is an excellent wood restorative.
• 1-tablespoon carnauba wax chips
• 1-cup linseed, almond walnut, or olive oil
• 6 drops of lavender essential oil

Combine carnauba and linseed oil in a double boiler.. heat slowly, stirring until completely melted. Remove from heat , add essential oil , and blend well. Pour into a glass or tin container and allow to cool completely before sealing. To use spread the paste on wood with a soft, dry cloth using small, circular motions, buff with a second dry cloth.

Traditional beeswax polish
This formula is used on quality pieces of wood
• 8 ounces unrefined beeswax, grated
• 2 ½ cups of turpentine
• 2 cups of water
• ½ cup of lemon juice
• 2 ounces of grated castile soap
• 15 drops of essential oil of choice

1 Melt the beeswax slowly in a double boiler. When melted, remove from heat and carefully stir in the turpentine. Set aside.
2.in a medium saucepan bring water and lemon juice to a boil. Add the grated soap and stir until the soap melts. Allow the mixture to cool for 5 minutes.
3.very slowly pour the lemon juice mixture in a fine stream into the beeswax mixture stirring constantly. Add the essential oils and blend well. Pour into shallow glass jar or tin can and allow to cool completely before putting on the lid.
4.dip a soft, dry cloth into the polish and spread a small amount on the wood surface, use small circular motions. Wipe and buff with a second dry cloth.

Hardwood floor wash
If you have any loose tiles or boards then hand wash those parts
• 1-½ cups of water
• 1-½ cups of vinegar.
• 20 drops of peppermint essential oil.

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle. Use sparingly, working on small sections of the floor. Dry mop the floor after washing


Citrus scented wood floor wax
In this formula the lemon juice and essential oils clean while the beeswax and carnauba wax nourish
• 1 cup of linseed oil
• Ό cups of lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons of bees wax (grated)
• 2 tablespoons of carnauba wax
• 6 drops of lemon essential oil
• Lemon juice

Place linseed oil,1/4 cup lemon juice , and waxes in double boiler over a low heat. Stir constantly until completely melted and smooth. Add the
essential oils. Remove from heat and pour the mixture into a clean coffee can and allow to harden. Once the wax has hardened tap the sides of the can until the wax breaks free. turn out the wax and gently rub it on the floor, like a crayon. Saturate a cloth with lemon juice ring out and rub the wax tracings well into the floor, buff with a clean dry cloth.

Double nut wood polish
This one smells so good you would want to eat it but obviously don’t!
• Ό cup almond oil
• 1/8 cup walnut oil
• 4 drops of pure vanilla extract

Combine all the ingredients together in a bowel. Apply a light layer of polish to the wood with a brush or cloth, using circular motions. Wipe again with a dry clean cloth.

Woodsy wood floor wax
This leaves your floor with a nice shine and a natural scent.
• 2 cups of linseed oil
• Ό cop carnauba wax
• 2 tablespoons of beeswax
• Ό cops of lemon juice
• 10 drops of cedar essential oil
• Lemon juice

Combine linseed oil, waxes, and the Ό cup lemon juice in a bottle boiler over a low heat. Stir constantly until all the wax is melted add the essential oils and blend well. Remove from heat. Pour into a clean coffee can and allow to cool. . Once the wax has hardened tap the sides of the can until the wax breaks free. Turn out the wax and gently rub it on the floor, like a crayon. Saturate a cloth with lemon juice ring out and rub the wax tracings well into the floor, buff with a clean dry cloth.

Wax remover
This formula is for without a varnish finish
• 2 cups of warm vinegar
• ½ cup of lemon juice
• ½ cup of water
• 1 capful of liquid castile soap
• 10 drops essential oil of your choice

Combine all the ingredients. Dampen a sponge mop or soft bristled brush with the formula and apply to the floor in sections, using short strokes. Wipe each floor section with a towel or clean mop before moving onto the next section.

All purpose citrus wall cleaner
This formula safely cleans your walls and leaves them looking sparkling clean.
• 1 cup of water
• ½ cup of vinegar
• 6 drops of lemon, grapefruit, or orange essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle. Shake vigorously before each use. Lightly spray the affective areas of your wall and wipe with a clean damp sponge.

Disinfectant thyme formula
This is good for cleaning a child’s room
• 1 cup of water
• 1 cup of vinegar
• 5 drops of tea tree essential oil
• 3 drops of thyme essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a spray bottle. Lightly spray the affective area with a clean sponge or cloth. Give a final wipe to surfaces with a sponge or cloth moistened with plain water.

Rosemary lavender carpet shampoo
This washes your carpet for you and leaves it looking like its had a hair wash.
• 2 cups of baking soda
• ½ cup of soap flakes
• 8 drops of rosemary essential oils
• ½ cup of vinegar
• 2 cups of warm water

1.sweep the carpet to be cleaned with a broom or carpet sweeper to loosen dirt, then vacuum the entire area
2. Combine the baking soda and soap flakes in a plastic bowel. Add the essential oils and mix well breaking up any clumps with a fork. Sprinkle the mixture on the carpet.
3.add the vinegar to the warm water in a bucket or pail. Dip in a clean sponge mop into the bucket and squeeze out as much as you can. Gently go over the carpet with the sponge mop working in sections. Wait at least an hour and the vacuum again.

Peppermint foam carpet shampoo
This formula is good for cleaning heavy traffic areas
• 3 cups of water
• Ύ cup vegetable based liquid soap
• 10 drops of peppermint essential oil

Mix all ingredients in a blender. Rub the foam into soiled areas with a damp sponge. Let dry thoroughly and then vacuum

Simple rug and carpet deodorized
This leaves your carpet smelling fresh again after dogs and stuff.
• 1 cup of borax
• 1 cup of baking soda
• ½ cup of cornmeal
• 10 drops juniper essential oils
• 5 drops of cypress essential oils

Combine the dry ingredients in a plastic bowel. Add essential oils and mix well, breaking up clumps. Sprinkle the mixture over carpet and wait several hours, overnight if possible, before vacuuming.

Herbal rug restorer
For this formula you have to wear gloves
• ½ gallon of hot water
• ½ cup of alum
• ½ cup of vinegar
• 8 drops of rosemary essential oil
• 3 drops of lemon essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a pail or bucket. Fill a second bucket with hot water for rinsing. Dip a clean sponge mop into the vinegar solution, squeeze out excess liquid, and wipe over the carpet in sections.
