The Bug Buster Kit was developed by a not-for-profit charity, Community Hygiene Concern, and has been independently evaluated by scientists at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Hygiene. Since its development, the UK Department of Health has advised fine-tooth wet combing for reliable diagnosis of head lice, and use of lotions or a Bug Buster Kit alone as treatment options. Always do a follow-up Bug Busting check for surviving lice after using any treatment, because none is guaranteed to kill all head lice and their eggs.
